Practical info


IB DB (IB Diploma)

You have to speak good English to get accepted. (approx. B2 level)
You will find one of our colleagues not too far from your home, where you can make an interview. After that you have to fill out the application form, and hand it in latest March 1st.
To be accepted, you must have finished 10 years of school with good results.


The Pre-IB is a preparatory year for the IB program. (But can also be used as an exchange year).
For Pre-IB you must have finished 9 years of school. The application procedure is like for IB.

Boarding school (dormitories)

Each school has their own dorm, where each student will have their own room.
The dorms are normally built together with or very close to the school.
They are staffed 24/7 and they have all modern facilities. All meals are included, also during weekends.
Some dorms allow students to stay during holidays against a small fee.
Week 42 (autumn) – Christmas holiday (2 weeks) – Winter holiday (week 7) – Easter (1 week)
+ summer holiday of course.


The IB DP and Pre-IB

There is no tuition fee for EU-citizens, but you need a calculator and a laptop. The school normally provides books for free.

Boarding school

The boarding school fees depend on parent’s income. (but not for Ikast-Brande).
The price is goes from approx. DKK 1.350-3.600/month.
There are price differences between the 3 schools.

Dormitory registration fees:
Struer: DKK 1.500
Grenaa: No fee
Ikast-Brande: Several dormitories, contact us for more info.
