Foundation degree

Foundation degrees are intended to give a basic knowledge in a subject to enable the holder to go on to employment or further study in that field. They are normally offered by universities and further education colleges working in partnership. After foundation degree, you can top up with normally a year to get a bachelor degree.

A foundation degree takes 2-3 years. The variations depend how long time you spend on your practical training period.
