In Denmark, high school IB education is tuition-free, and affordable accommodation and board await students starting from around 130,000 HUF per month*. This study abroad opportunity is available to Hungarian students starting as early as the 10th grade, although most students typically begin their studies in local high schools in the 11th or 12th grade.
But what exactly is the IB, or International Baccalaureate?
It is an international high school education program that awards an international diploma upon completion, meaning students do not need to take a separate Hungarian matura exam. The acquired diploma is recognized by over 4500 universities worldwide, generally without the need for differential exams. Students participate in a modern, project-based education where schedules are tailored specifically to their needs – all within a safe environment in exceptionally well-equipped boarding schools.
